Technical Business Analyst

We are looking for a new team member to join the Professional Services and Support Team. This team does two main things: a) Provides technical support for our customers and b) Writes new software for our customers; using our graphical programming language tool. Each team member must perform these activities to a high standard.

Experience with software development or debugging software is VERY beneficial for this job. If you are the type of person who is good at searching forums to figure out how to flash your home router with third party firmware, root your Android/jailbreak your iPhone, install linux on your old hardware to “breathe new life into them,” or wants to buy a Raspberry Pi not because you have a use for it but because you want try to find a use for it, we want to hear from you.

You should:

  • Understand basic concepts about software development like datatypes, variables, iterating arrays, exception handling, etc. Or at least have a knack for solving software problems.
  • Be very competent at using a Windows computer (if you don’t know how to find your local IP address, or how to shutdown Windows using a command prompt this probably isn’t the job for you)
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience with C#, VB.NET, SQL Server or Oracle is a plus but not required.

We are looking for team members and leaders who want to grow within our organization. Compensation will be heavily based on skills and experience. We are interested in people getting their start in software as well as people who have been managers and team leaders.
