The Decisions Platform rule engine is capable of being used in high availability, clustered vertical and horizontally scaled environments but that’s not all. The base rule engine is measured in terms of billions of rules an hour with proper hardware configuration.
The ‘Decisions’ rule engine was actually designed to be a standalone high-performance rule engine to support the workflow engine by automating flow interactions. It was also designed and tuned to manage large batch type processing needs in a timely manner with potentially millions of evaluations and records being accessed. And this has been validated in large enterprise processing environments.
‘Decisions’ includes a prebuilt profiler to get a deep look into which integrations or rules/steps are costliest in performance – providing data for performance tuning.
‘Decisions’ rules can be either in our rule service or embedded in any .NET execution environment.
