Database Storage

‘Decisions’ has total flexibility when it comes to where the data comes from and where it is stored. Workflow processes can consume data, change data, as well as store details about the execution of workflows. The Decisions Platform stores all of this data in normalized relational data structures - making it easy for it to be explored and accessed both by the prebuilt reporting functionality as well as external tools.

The Decisions Platform as a System of Record

‘Decisions’ leverages a managed database to store information. User-defined data structures can be created and stored in a standard relational format. This data is fully managed with the ability to configure security, encryption of data at rest, indexes, full-text searching, audit history, etc.

Batch Loading

Batch Loading

‘Decisions’ includes batch loading components allowing workflows to manage input from large lists of data into the database. This is useful for ETL type processes or high volume workflows.

Other Databases

External SQL Databases

‘Decisions’ integration to external databases allows data in other databases to be accessed by workflows and reports in the same manner as data in the ‘Decisions’ managed database.

NoSQL Databases

Integration to NoSQL databases and other high-performance data structures is another common use for a ‘Decisions’ workflow.
