Case Management

Case-based processes are processes where users are in charge of the overall flow and steps in the process (well… most of the time. There are times where you want to take a part of a process and run it through a sequence of steps like a traditional workflow). Case-based processes focus on the data being managed, the team collaborating, and the rules to determine what team member can take what action.

‘Decisions’ includes the ability to define collaboration/team-first workflows that involve defining the data structure, constructing different ways of cases to be created, defining actions, and user interfaces to view and manage cases. Defining a case uses the same graphical tools that are used in a directed workflow.
